The smaller room has a vivid geometry and offers tw comfortable single beds: one in plain view and one built-in in a original and self-made piece of furniture. By looking up you will notice, in both rooms, ancient and original wooden beams recovered during the restoration.

Particular bathroom fixtures and fittings, tempered glass shelfs and the back lighted mirror complete the furniture of the bathroom.
In the past many venetian buildings used to have ground floor storage rooms, places for storing fishing instruments. Also, many shops and companies used to have instruments ans tools in these rooms. After the increase of the sea tides and since a lot of activities moved to the hinterland for logistic reasons, many of these storage rooms where abandoned. Thanks to the most advanced construction tecniques Ca' Flavia has been created from an old decaying deposit for construction materials and it has trasformed in a home with every modern comfort. Some of the old pieces were kept, such as the original wooden beams, pieces of walls and columns but also the old chimney which is now a bookshelf.
Expert hands added then the final touch, realizing by hand the beautiful floor called "terrazo alla veneziana" (i.e. "venetian terrace") which is an ancient tecnique typical of the venetian history.
"In Venice you always fell in love. For a strange alchemy, we all are better". Ca' Flavia comes from the deep love Flavia has always had for Venice. After a long time and with the fundamental help of her family members, Flavia realized one of her dreams: having a piece of heart in Venice, the city of a thousand reflections, the city that produces extraordinary emotions, the city that lives on the water, the most unique city in the world.
Claudio, Flavia, Marco e Barbara patiently cooperated with the various companies and operators in order to build Ca' Flavia. Everyone of us contribuited in its own way to the construction of this home so that this home resulted for the turist to be a jewel inside the jewel.
Santa Maria Formosa's Church
Santa Maria Formosa is a church in Venice, northern Italy. It was erected in 1492 under the design by Renaissance architect Mauro Codussi. It lies on the site of a former church dating from the 7th century, which, according to tradition, was one of the eight founded by San Magno, bishop of Oderzo.
Palazzo Querini Stampalia
Situated in the sestieri of Castello, on the left bank of the Grand Canal, it includes famous paintings as a self- portrait and Adam and Eve by Palma the Younger, a Sacra Conversazione by Palma the Elder and a Madonna and Child by Bernardo Strozzi.
Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo
One of the largest churches in the city, it has the status of a minor basilica. After the 15th century the funeral services of all of Venice's doges were held here, and twenty-five doges are buried in the church.
San Francesco della Vigna's Church
Along with Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, this is one of two Franciscan churches in Venice. The site, originally a vineyard (Vigna), was donated by Marco Ziani in 1253 for construction of the monastery. A tiny chapel already on the site recalled the spot where an angel supposedly had pronounced Pax tibi Evangelista meus.. to the shipwrecked apostle St. Mark, patron of Venice.
